‘Fantastic move’: Victorian secondary teachers call out maths crisis

Sky News host Jenna Clarke says it is “fantastic” a group of Victorian secondary teachers have called out the crisis they have seen emerging in the field of mathematics.

The Age is reporting secondary school teachers are warning of an “emerging crisis” in maths as the standard of students’ work drops after two years of disruption.

“Fantastic move by these teachers to get on the front foot and say hey let’s … focus on the fact these kids … have been living with disturbed learning for the past two years and making sure that they’re getting the right foundation,” she said.
