Gary Neville clashes with pundit over Antonio Conte to Manchester United verdict

Gary Neville has doubled down on his opinion that Antonio Conte was not the precise match for Manchester United.

“To be honest, he is completed a great job. Arsenal have blown it on the finish and Manchester United have capitulated, which has helped. I’ve little question he is an ideal supervisor, however he simply would not swimsuit the membership I help.”

Conte was mooted as a potential option for United when Solskjaer’s job was on the line. Speaking about that possibility at the time, Neville said: “I would not carry Conte to United. He is not a match for United. I may be improper about it, however I do not assume he’s.”
