Incoming NSW Deputy Premier Paul Toole is a ‘well connected, grounded individual’

Nationals Senator Matt Canavan says newly elected NSW Deputy Premier Paul Toole is a “well connected, grounded individual”.

On Wednesday, Mr Toole won the party room ballot vote for Nationals Party leadership and as deputy premier, paving the way for him to replace the Former Deputy Premier John Barilaro.

“He’s well in touch with the needs and desires of not just the traditional Nationals constituencies or farmers and small businesses but it’s also workers and their families,” Mr Canavan told Sky News Australia.

“And that’s a key constituency for us now.”
