Murder suspect named after man found stabbed to death

Police have named a person who’s suspected of stabbing a person to loss of life.

Officers have been known as to stories of a disturbance inside a flat on Newsham Drive, Tuebrook, on Sunday, Might 15. Emergency companies discovered 49-year-old Derek Burns lifeless on the scene.

A submit mortem has since revealed Mr Burns died from a stab wound to the chest. Detectives arrested a 56-year-old man on the scene.

Jeffrey Kelly, of Newsham Drive, has been charged with homicide and remanded into custody to look at Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton and St Helens grownup remand courtroom at this time, Tuesday, Might 17.
