Outrage after woman forced back into quarantine after premature birth of child

Queensland’s hotel quarantine system is back in the spotlight with reports surfacing a woman was sent back into isolation after prematurely giving birth.

The Courier Mail reports the mother – who gave birth at 30 weeks – had entered mandatory quarantine after arriving from Canada – but was forced back days after welcoming the new-born at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
