Pat Conroy being at COP26 is ‘very unusual’

Labor Member for Shortland Pat Conroy’s presence at the COP26 climate summit is “very unusual” given he is in a resource industry seat, according to Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell.

“I mean, he used to work for Greg Combet, he used work for Anthony Albanese, he’s close to Albanese,” Mr Clennell said.

“So, I guess he’s in that sort of climate space, having worked for Combet.

“But still, it’s unusual and when Scott Morrison goes into his seat and talks up his candidate…

“Nevertheless, I think the Hunter is challenging at the moment.

“Things can change, but Pat Conroy points out here they’re still mad that Gladys Berejiklian took the vaccines off them and gave them to the HSC students.”
