PM tours Hunter region ahead of 2022 election


Prime Minister Scott Morrison has arrived at his first stop in his week-long tour through New South Wales and Victoria ahead of the next election in 2022.  

He is expected to announce a $1.5 million funding towards a study on a hydrogen hub in the Port of Newcastle.

The tour marks the unofficial launch of the government’s election campaign as the national vote for Prime Minister is expected to take place in May of 2022.

Mr Morrison has currently visited an electrical engineering business in Tomago where he is meeting employees.
