Sydney gym on alert after COVID cases emerge

A Sydney gym remains on alert this morning with as many as 15 COVID cases linked to the facility.

It comes more than two weeks after Sydney reopened for fully vaccinated residents.

Anyone who attended City Gym in Darlinghurst from October 18-23 must get tested and isolate until receiving a negative result.

NSW Health claims officials visited the gym and provided advice on measures to reduce the risk of transmission.

Meanwhile, Sydney’s mass vaccination clinic, Qudos Bank Arena, is set to shut its doors on November 7 to allow events to resume but most other mass vaccination centres will remain open.
