Victoria records 1,534 new local COVID-19 cases and 13 further deaths


Victorian COVID-19 Response Commander Jeroen Weimar says there have been 1,534 new local COVID-19 cases recorded in the state and a further 13 deaths. 
  
"It's been reasonably encouraging to see the 1,500 number - we have seen it now for a few days," Mr Weimar said during a media conference on Wednesday. 
  
"It does feel like we're sort of, at the kind of at a plateau at the moment."
